Articles
Please refer to the "All Articles" page for a list of all articles found at MOMMBY.com. You can click on the respective tab to see articles of each category. Or you can drill down into the main topics using the menu on the left hand side of the page. If you click on the topic it will expand to show the subtopics. For example, when you click on “Breastfeeding & Bottle Feeding” it will show the additional subtopic of Bottle Feeding which then lists the following articles: “Bottles,” “Formula,” "Formula Transition," and “Nipples." If you click on the main topic again, then the subtopic list will collapse.
If applicable, each topic will then be grouped by the appropriate age group. Most of the article posts thus far are related to the Infants & Toddlers. Although, as I come across relevant information for other ages, I will post the information accordingly.
Generally, the following guidelines are used for groupings within this site:
- All: Relevant to all ages
- Newborn: 0 – 2 months
- Infant: 2 – 12 months
- Toddler: 12 – 24 months
- Preschooler: 2 – 4 years
- School Age: 4 – 12 years
- Adolescents: 12 – 18 years
At the top of each article will be a list of the subheadings of the article. You can click on the subheading to go directly to that section. For example if in the breastfeeding article you want to go directly to “What’s in Breast Milk?” simply click on that item and it will jump you down to that section of the article. (This article does the same as well, refer above.)
If you are looking for specific information, please refer to the topics on the left hand side. Some topics are duplicated in various sections. For example, “Nighttime Parenting” information will be found under “Parenting” and also under “Sleep.” Some of the articles may have some overlap with other similar articles. I generally have links within each article to other relevant articles. I also try to briefly re-explain something written in another article so each article can be read independently.
I try to add “Last updated” at the end of the main articles to indicate when I last updated the information. Please take note of this date as baby information continually changes. For example, at the time of my research with formulas there may not have been many organic name brands and thus I would not have reviewed those types. I will continue to try to update articles as I come across new information.
The archives section will be used to flag new posts to the site. That way if you’ve read everything on the site as of November 2009 and you visit back in December 2009 you can find out what has been updated rather than trying to search for new updates.
If you can’t find what you are looking for by drilling into the various topics then you can simply use the search button at the top of every page and simply type a key word into the search box.
Experiences with my family impact each of the topics and I incorporate my family’s experiences throughout all of the articles. Each topic has a “Community” section. You can sign in with your facebook account to participate in these sections. The community section is open for you to post questions, answer questions, or to add tips that work well for your family. I welcome all comments.
Lastly, each section has a “Resources” section which provides a list of all of the resources related to that topic.

My Favorite Things
Coming soon is the “My Favorite Things” section to allow you to immediately find out my favorite things, such as my favorite bottle (Dr. Brown’s or Tommee Tippee) or my favorite nursing cover, the Peek-a-
Bye-Baby™ cover.
As discussed under ADVERTISING and LINK POLICY for MOMMBY LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, any specific product I recommend on this site, is recommended from my heart as a product that truly worked well for me and my family. With that being said, I do hope to eventually obtain advertising revenue to keep this site going. Currently the advertisements showing on this site are through Google Adsense and thus the ads appear based on the site’s content. MOMMBY may receive advertising revenue if you click on the advertisements found within this site.
All of the product suggestions will continue to be only recommendations that I TRUTHFULLY BELIEVE and support by use of the products in my own family. I will continue to uphold my personal values of HONESTY and INTEGRITY as core values to me and my family. Please remember that because the product worked well for me and my family does not guarantee it will work well for you and your family which is why MOMMBY does not endorse any products.
