This section provides resources I’ve come across through my parenting journey. Each topic has a list of resources presented in the following categories: books and web sites. The book section is separated into cited and other. Please refer to the “Works Cited” page for more detail on the cited books and the other book section generally includes items I have not read but I expect these books to be informative. The web sites are grouped as applicable, including an other section which includes web sites I have not used but I would expect those sites to be helpful. This web site is a work in progress and topics will continue to be updated.
Most of the books I recommend can be found at the MOMMBY Amazon Store - Books category:

Pregnancy Books - General
- I'm Pregnant! by Lesley Regan, M.D. I found out I was pregnant while we were on vacation. I was so excited that I bought the first book I could find in the airport about pregnancy and this happened to be it. I really liked this book. It was easy to read and had a lot of nice pictures.
- 100,000+ Baby Names by Bruce Lansky. For more information, please refer to "Baby Names."
- Your Pregnancy: Week by Week by Dr. Glade B. Curtis OB/GYN and Judith Schuler, M.S. - I received this book as a gift after I was already reading the I'm Pregnant! book. Since both books were fairly similar I tended to primarily read the I'm Pregnant. The main reason I liked the I'm Pregnant book better was due to the better baby pictures.
