We are very excited for our upcoming trip to Disney World with BOTH sets of grandparents! In preparation for our trip we have been buying Disney shirts although the trip would not be complete without at least one Disney Princess Costume.
My two year old was fortunate to do a review for a Snow White Costume. – For the full review, please refer to “WHOLESALE Halloween Costume Review.”
March was an interesting weather month…we finally had a big snow storm…which the kids had a blast playing in and then three days later we were playing at the playground.
Are you planning a ski trip to Colorado? I would highly recommend going to Keystone, Co.
To decide where to stay, I called and spoke with a customer service representative at the following websites:
I did a lot of research to find an economical place to stay…and the final decision was Ski Tip Lodge, Bed and Breakfast. It was the perfect location for us! It was only a 2 minute drive (if that) to the Keystone ski slopes (and there was a free shuttle if you didn’t want to drive.) As described, it was “a charming bed and breakfast with rustic flair.”
Due to my new part-time job positions which practically add up to working full-time; unfortunately, I have not been able to do my weekly picture posts…so I think I may continue with my month in review post instead.
February was a busy month…but we still tried to make some time to enjoy the simple things like…
I can’t believe we are already into February 2013!! How are you doing on your New Year’s Resolutions? Here are just a few Parenting Resolutions I hope to keep in 2013.
It seems like we have been doing a lot of mac n’ cheese (Back to Nature), baked chicken nuggets (Bell & Evans Gluten Free) and frozen pizza (Annie’s Frozen Pizza – recently recalled). We try to pair the food with broccoli, peas, or spinach but we are in need of some homecooked food. Today, I decided to make something super easy – chicken in the crock pot. Continue reading
It has been quite a busy 2013…and it is only January! I filed a communication to the USPTO in reference to my Peek-a-Bye-Baby™ cover, I started a new part-time accounting consulting job, I started teaching a new class at a local university, I have a few Yahoo Contributor articles in process, and I have plans in the works to help other small businesses (more information on this coming soon!) I am also excited about the increase in sales of the MOMMBY Storage Bags…probably due to increased searches for toy storage solutions after the holiday season. On top of that, I’m also trying to work on some of my New Year’s Resolutions to spend more quality family time…needless to say, I have been behind on my MOMMBY posts.
So I thought I would share a few pictures of some of the fun things we have been doing the month of January. Normally, these pictures would be posted in Picture Stories with no additional comments but I decided to switch things up a bit and add a little additional information.
Before it was even the New Year…the kids had fun playing in the snow during our visit to Pittsburgh. It was really our daughter’s first time playing in the snow. She tried sled riding twice…did not really like it (it was a pretty big hill) but I was proud of her for attempting it. Her favorite thing was just building piles of snow. Our 4 year old really enjoyed sled riding especially with his friend and also family members. We hope we get more snow this winter season!
